We stayed here as a group of 8 friends (4 in each wing) and loved every minute. Everything, other than food and drink, was provided for an effortless holiday. First class design means every room is huge and has a view over rolling hills to the beach. Every little item you could possibly want for a self-contained holiday is available. No-fuss check-in with key safe on site. Sitting at dawn or dusk on the expansive front deck and watching the local sheep, kangaroos and eagles gave us many memories. Wish we could stay longer!

"great ocean view and luxury interior"

We had an enjoyable stay at Snellings view which offered great ocean view and luxury interior. Before the trip I had doubts as to whether I have picked the right location to stay on the Island as it looked quite remote from main roads. However my concerns were eradicated as we found it not too bad to drive on the unsealed roads (we hired X-Trail in the end) and it was a beautiful drive up Constitution Hill. The remoteness (no occupants in West Wing) also meant we literally owned the hill!! We also found it more convenient to take Pratt Rd instead as it cut travel time and had smoother surface.

We ended up visiting most attractions on the Island (Willoughby Lighthouse, Oyster Farm Shop, Prospect Hill, Island Beehives, Little Sahara, Seals Bay, Remarkable Rocks, Cape du Couedic Lighthosue and Admirals Arch. Wish we could have stayed another night to see the rest of the Island.

All in all a very enjoyable trip and wish we have another chance to stay at Snellingsview again in warmer weather and in bigger groups to take out both wings 🙂

"Snellings View could not have been a better base"

Just wanted to write and thank you for your help with our stay. We had a wonderful time at KI, and Snellings View could not have been a better base and focal point. In particular, we enjoyed the resident koala in a stand of trees up near the shed, a wedge-tailed eagle that perched on a stump in the valley below you for about three hours, the Birds of Prey show and meeting a couple of very large birds, some quite friendly seals and an unfriendly tiger snake at Admiral’s Arch, he bloke at Two-Wheeler Creek wines who convinced us that wine tasting was best done both before and after lunch of fresh marron, the couple of quick but very refreshing dips off Snellings Beach.

Thanks again, we are certainly recommending Snellings View to anyone who will listen.
