Here you will find information about travelling to Kangaroo Island after the fires, including what is accessible, what is not and what you can do to support our community.

If you wish to journey to Kangaroo Island by plane you can do so with Regional Express. If you’re arriving by plane please allow 1 hour to drive from the airport to Snellings View. Fifty percent of this journey is along unsealed roads, so please be aware of wildlife while travelling.

You can journey to Kangaroo Island by ferry with Sealink Ferries. Their service operates daily between Cape Jervis (two hours south of Adelaide) and Penneshaw, Kangaroo Island. If you’re arriving at Kangaroo Island by ferry and plan to drive then please allow 1.5 hours to drive from the Ferry dock to Snellings View.
